Mini Soccer details and News
Giving the Game Back to the Players
What is Mini-Soccer?...
The principles and rules of Mini-Soccer are similar to those in Association Football, except that the pitches are smaller and there are fewer players on each team.
The benefits of mini-soccer...
- More touches of the ball, to increase participation and enjoyment.
- More touches of the ball, to increase participation and enjoyment.
- Fewer players on the pitch meaning simpler decisions and better understanding.
- Smaller pitches meaning greater concentration and interest among participants.
- More individual success leads to more children playing. In the long term, this leads to sustained participation levels beyond this age group

-

-
Creative and skilfull
-
Fair
"Young Players need freedom of expression, to develop as creative players. They should be encouraged to try skills without fear of failure"
If you have never been before - you will need to know the following;
- Wear Boots / Astro trainers and shin pads covered by football socks
- Bring along a drink
- Bring along some wet weather wear in case of rain.
Most importantly - be ready to learn and enjoy!
What age group do I qualify for? The age of a child on 31st August determines what age group they are eligible to play for. For example, 9 years old on 31st August would mean the Under 10 age group is the one for you. 11 years old on 31st August would be the Under 12s and so on. Please scroll down for further details of each team.
The details below are for Season 2017/18.
